Spend less time planning and more time enjoying!

• BATHING SUIT, GOOD SUNGLASSES, SUNSCREEN, AND HAT WITH BRIM OR BILL WILL ENSURE THAT YOUR MEMORIES Persist…not your sunburn!
• A light fleece or jacket is more than sufficient in most conditions and may be totally unnecessary depending on your charter and the time of day/season.
• Leave your shoes on the dock! Flip flops or sandals are great!
• Please avoid wearing clothes with hardware that could tear cushions and scratch fiberglass. (jeans with bling)

• You can bring any food or drink you would like beer, wine, liquor, cans, anything is fine. If you run out, we can stop on the lake at several spots to “refuel”.
• Bring snacks if you like, things that don’t stain are preferred. Unwrap and serve type goodies are best.
• We have ice aboard to cool or, mix into, your refreshments.
• We have paper and plastic picnic amenities on board.
• No glass containers!

• Once a tour is booked it is non-refundable (no matter what, zero exceptions).
• If you need to reschedule for any reason, you are able to do so within 72 hours of your tour for a store credit.
• A weather cancellation can only be determined by H2GO Charters. Weather-related cancellations will be determined on the day of the scheduled tour only.
• If the weather is severe the company will contact you within 2 hours of your tour and provide you with a store credit which you can use to book another tour in the future.

• We are 100% a kid and family-friendly operation. However, for the safety of our passengers, our minimum age requirement is 4 years old.
• We have kids ourselves and have been taking them on boat trips since they were old enough to walk. We understand nap times, snacks and keeping kids happy and entertained. We do our best so that mom and dad get to enjoy the day as much or more than the kids do!
• We have a selection of water toys/activities available for kids and families.
• All kids (under 8) will wear a USCG-approved life jacket while underway or on the boat at all times. We can provide life jackets for your littles if needed!

Our largest group size is 8 people on inland lakes. We can carry a maximum of 6 people on East/West Grand Traverse Bay.

You are the DJ! Hook up your phone to our speakers via bluetooth/Aux or let the captain provide the soundtrack for your perfect day!

Yes! Should you wish to schedule a time longer than 3 hours, please contact us. We can create a fully customizable tour for you!

• Meeting places will be discussed and decided on during your pre-charter phone call. The meeting place will vary depending on the location and itinerary of your charter.
• We have permits on nearly every lake in the Grand Traverse Area and can put on where ever you want to explore and enjoy a day on the lake.
• If you have rented a lake house, we can come to you!

Heck yes! What is a boat charter without a dip or three? Lake Leelanau and the surrounding lakes are shallow enough to swim comfortably by the middle of June. So, jump in, the water is awesome!

Kids under 8 years old will need to wear a life jacket at all times while on the boat unless anchored at a sandbar (knee-deep shallow water)

Our boat has multiple swim ladders so even if we stop in the middle of the lake (recommended), you will be able to get back onboard with no problem!

• The docks where you are going to embark on your charter are not always designed with accessibility in mind. Therefore, passengers must be able to board themselves by stepping down on the boat.
• Passengers should be in good enough fitness to be able to get themselves out of deep water using a swim ladder or onto the boat when on the sandbar (knee-deep water).

H2GO Charters is not a licensed fishing charter so we leave the fish where they belong, in the lake. Due to liability, we cannot offer towing of any kind for watersports. This includes tubing, wakeboarding, wakesurfing, waterskiing, etc.
